EVENTS/VISITS/FUNDRAISERS
The majority of The SOUL Harbour Ranch Animal Therapy Program visits are in the Chicago and Chicagoland area with our registered Pet Partners therapy teams at hospitals, nursing homes, programs for disabled, veterans, at-risk you, and others in need; however, we do have numerous opportunities for visits with the public. We would LOVE to see you at these upcoming community events, visits and fundraisers!

SOUL Veterans
Join us for our monthly (last Sunday of every month) SOUL Veterans program at SOUL Harbour Ranch. All veterans, active military and family members are welcome to enjoy SOUL to SOUL connections with our special therapy animals.

Join our therapy animals for a special Story Time program at the Arb of S. Barrington on the 1st Sunday of August and September. Feel free to join us at 11am for the Pet Partners "Walk with Me" program, then stay for a reading of one of our children's books about our mini horses! Or join us at the Pavilion at 11:30am-12:30 for a story and visits. *Families must register at the Eventbrite link to receive a free children's book, courtesy of a Barrington Junior Women's Club grant!

Pet Partners "Read with Me"
at Barrington Libary
PROGRAM IS FULL WITH A WAITLIST!
Read to therapy dogs! Join the Pet Partners registered therapy dogs of SOUL Harbour Ranch at the Barrington Area Library for the “Read With Me™" program.
The “Read With Me™ program (a reading initiative through Pet Partners) is dedicated to improving literacy and involves reading to children with therapy animals present. This program allows children to read to therapy animals in a nonjudgmental environment.

Anxiety Awareness Virtual Event
We know animals are good for the SOUL, so thanks to all who joined us 2/20/22 on Zoom for this virtual anxiety awareness event!
The platform featured a short introduction by Miss Teen Lakemoor Adelynn. Everyone then experienced the joy and happiness that our therapy animals share, even virtually, which decreased stress and anxiety. Jodie Diegel, SOUL Harbour Ranch founder and nurse coach, also led us through short breathing and meditation exercises for further anxiety and stress reduction.
