Fun Fact: Adopted as a puppy from Wright Way Rescue in Morton Grove, Sawyer has been spreading smiles since day one. She began her volunteering journey with Chicago Cares while living in the city, and she’s been a natural at bringing comfort and joy ever since. At home, Sawyer proudly serves as “Sissy” to her human brothers, Everett (7) and Luke (4), and takes her role of cleaning up after them very seriously, especially if snacks are involved! When she’s not busy with therapy visits, you’ll find her sunbathing in the yard, keeping a close eye on squirrels, or enjoying her favorite activities: swimming, beach days, boat rides, long walks with her family, and snuggling up for well-deserved belly rubs. She also loves a good treat or anything with peanut butter! A few of her many nicknames include Sissy, Sawyer Bean, Soybean, and Princess Sawyer.
